We live in space is a storefront studio in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. It is a rehearsal space for dance-based artists to deepen their creative practice.

Hi Facebook Fam,
I have a sincere request for you. I’m going to be significantly expanding my business in 2018. If you haven’t already, would you take a moment to “Like” my biz page Arielle Brown – Intimacy Coach?
In doing so, you’ll help my message reach more people AND gain greater credibility with those interested in booking me for podcasts, interviews, and speaking opportunities. Thank you, and see you all next year. <3
Hey, remember Obama’s Occupy Goon Squads?
Was the ‘world’ watching then too?
Paula Densnow — From my friend Saed Teymuri ” Burning banks, gas stations, judiciary offices, and attacking government buildings is NOT a peaceful protest. This is a plot for a coup. Why has the military not gone to fight against the violent protesters? The reason is that Washington likely has bought some folks. This actually looks like the typical US-backed coup.”
David J Otness The pattern is long-established – tried and true – and here we go again.
If you can’t or won’t see this for what it is – an excuse to make war on Iran – then may your God answer your prayers for your children and grandchildren who will be called to die or come home shattered forever following another US / Israeli invasion for profit, subjugation and territorial domination.
Only fools will fall for this latest international machination. “Demockeracy” and “Freedom” my ass. And btw, late-bloomers, HRC would have been pursuing the same course of action. Period.
Rogue Nation #1. U.S.A.
If you only knew, so many of you…
As is you cannot cope, cannot process, so well has your path of indifference and self-inconsequence been sown, planted and paved into your deepest recesses…
‘Aye, there be monsters out there’… your fears are well-founded. And as a prescient U.S. President once long-ago intoned – correctly – “The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.”
So it is, so it has become, most of you are afraid of your own shadow, that too which has been sown, planted and paved into your deepest recesses…
D’ye see what you’ve been molded into by your ‘betters’?
Shadows, mere shadows of your better nature.
The silence is deafening. ~ djo
Happy New Year People!
I’ve spent the past two weeks taking some time offline to spend with family – I feel re-energised and ready to rock 2018!
As we move into the new year I sense a shift in social media – one where people are more mindful of what they post – I’ve had a lot of friends suffer this year and I think social can amplify the pain as they look through the window into others’ “perfect” lives -
That lovey-dovey status about how you love your partner and your relationship is perfect – hurting a friend who is going through a breakup.
The one about how super duper cute your baby is – hurting a friend who can’t have babies.
That one about the new car/house you bought – hurting a friend who is struggling to make ends meet.
I will continue to share my life online but I’m gonna try and be more mindful of what I post and how it might affect friends – a first for someone who has been unabashedly sharing for 10 years!
So my sister Lily is an artist, and she’s completely brilliant and incredibly ballsy in her work. Here’s a photo of her and a recent commission piece. To the right, an erotic art piece that when I first saw it was like, “ummm whoa, you did that!?” She brings a rich perspective into the way women are conditioned to embody themselves in society. Can you tell we’re related?
She’s a badass. You can follow her on instagram @lilyjbrown and check out her website for details in the comments below. She does commissions, she’s amazing, you should definitely check her out. I’ve posted some more of her art photos in the comments below.
I’m conducting a series of interviews with women who want to up-level their experience of intimacy, sex and communication in relationship with men.
These interviews are for women who want to become sexually sovereign in their relationships and in their lives.
These interviews are for women who want to irrevocably expand their capacity to receive pleasure, and speak their desires and boundaries in the moment without shame, guilt, or self-doubt.
These interviews are for women who want to engage in relationship as a consciousness practice, and drop the performance and script of “Who I need to be in order to make my relationship work”.
“Well-behaved women seldom make history”. – Marilyn Monroe
I have space for 10 interviews. If you’d like to be interviewed, PM me and I’ll send you a link to my online scheduler.
The insights you share from these interviews will be channeled into my upcoming Women’s Virtual course, APPETITE, launching in February 2018.
I’m excited to speak with you. Talk to you soon. <3
My first movie in the theater was Supergirl in 1984 with my grandmother. I was about 3.5 years old. My son is the same age. Today we took him and his 1 year old sister to their first flick Ferdinand. They sat quietly and didn’t have a meltdown. They devoured the entire large popcorn box and during the credits ran up the stairs and danced in the aisles. They loved the entire experience. A Christmas miracle. Here’s to more movies with the kids inshallah.
When I was a kid I asked my mom if Santa was coming and she, a South Asian immigrant blunt instrument, said it was a nonsense fairy tale for American kids to get presents. Then she fed me biryani. I was happy.
Tried it with my 3 year old son. Didn’t work as well.
Lovely lunch with my amazing friend Emeric! We were so glad to spend time together that we totally forgot to take a pic together. Thankfully, I took one of the office as proof I was there, lol! Then off to Montmartre area in the rain. You gotta do what you gotta do when time is limited .
